Email marketing is one of the best ways to increase revenue and scale sales. Without a strong email marketing strategy in place, your brand is most definitely leaving money on the table. When we start with a new client for email marketing we always begin with an audit of their existing flows. We find areas where we can optimize and/or add in new flows altogether. If a client comes to us without any existing flows in place, these are the standard flows we’ll implement at kickoff:

  • Welcome: This is the primary customer acquisition flow and the first thread of communication the soon-to-be customers will receive from the brand. Almost always, we will over an incentive to sign-up for the email list, such as 10% off or free shipping.

  • Browse Abandonment: When a person is browsing a product page on your site and leaves without taking any further actions, they’ll receive an email flow that provides them more information on the product they were checking out to nurture them to purchase.

  • Cart Abandonment: When someone adds items to cart, but doesn’t complete check-out then they will receive an email flow reminding them of their cart and potentially incentivizing them with a small discount to complete the purchase.

  • Post Purchase: After a customer has made a purchase, this is the email flow they receive that builds further brand loyalty and requests a review of the product they purchased.

  • Re-engagement: This flow is sent to people on the email list who have not engaged with any recent flows or campaigns, it’s an effort to get them excited and interested in the brand again before suppressing them from delivery.

  • Loyalty: This flow is set-up to reward customers as they reach increased spend benchmarks with the brand. This builds customer loyalty and encourages repeat purchasers.
